The LaGrange Sunrise Rotary Club recently honored three Seniors; Julia Dunn, Nina Gomez and Helena Lent with scholarships to help them pursue their college dreams. They are all 2020 graduates of Arlington High School. Julia is planning to attend Mt Saint Mary beginning this fall, majoring in Nursing, Nina plans to pursue her education at the University of Buffalo where she plans to major in Engineering and Helena plans to attend Carnegie Mellon University where she plans to major in Music performance. All three students exemplify our Rotary moto; "Service Above Self", focusing on how to to make this world a better place by supporting the communities in which they live. Even during this last several months with the COVID-19 issue front and center, they have all spent time supporting their community. It is truly refreshing to see young people passionate about Community Service and just hoping to make a difference in the lives of others.
